Please note: As of current regulations, you cannot fly in any GCAA-regulated area unless you have been trained and certified by a GCAA-approved trainer or training academy. This applies to all drone operators, whether flying recreationally or commercially.

Overview: Designed to impart the necessary knowledge to conduct commercial UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) operations safely and in accordance with UAE rules and regulations, this training also includes guidance on obtaining security clearance and completing pilot licence registration with both the DCAA and GCAA.
Specialized Applications of Drones:
• Drone Photography and Cinematography: Perfect for enthusiasts and content creators,
this module delves into capturing breathtaking aerial imagery and video. Learn the art
and techniques to elevate your visual storytelling.
• Mapping and Surveying: Ideal for professionals in surveying and mapping, this training
focuses on leveraging drones for precise data collection, mapping, and surveying
applications.
• Multispectral Imaging in Agriculture: Explore the use of multispectral drones to monitor
crop health and soil conditions. This program covers capturing and analysing images at
various wavelengths to gain critical agricultural insights.
Duration: 1 Hour
Overview: This process involves testing your flying skills and passing an exam. Once you
complete the certification, we will register you as a commercial pilot with the DCAA, which will
authorize you to fly drones in the UAE.
Training will be conducted in Dubai at the DCAA and GCAA registered venue.
To obtain your pilot licence, you’ll need to attend a recognised training facility. However, if you require drone-specific training, we may be able to deliver this at your location, subject to the necessary permits being secured. Additional costs may apply. Once you are qualified and certified by the DCAA there is no expiration on the certification. That being said, we always advise taking refresher courses based on the project at hand.
No, all the equipment needed will be provided by the training center. If you have a desired type of drone you want to be trained on, this will need to be announced before booking the training.
